through my eyes: I Hate Pretty Ken
Another Shades of Light Photography classic moment. Pretty Ken gives it to us raw. Was this really in 2007?! Wow! I've been on this grind for a minute!

through my eyes: Sassafras Ridge Juke Joint presents Julie Dexter
Julie Dexter performed with Mausiki Scales at the Sassafras Ridge Mountain Retreat Juke Joint and I had the pleasure of experiencing this treat and capturing it through my eyes.

through my eye: NASA Space Camp
One of the coolest field trips we went on while at Imhotep Academy was to Huntsville, Alabama to NASA Space Camp. We spent the night on campus and then had a day full of hands-on activities, seminars and good old family bonding. Last but not least, we closed the trip with a rocket launch contest, rockets built on site!

through my eyes: Savannah, Georgia
Field trips are the best when you travel with family. This day trip with Imhotep Academy was packed full of fun, information, good food and soul stirring moments.

through my eyes: The Franks Family

through my eyes: The Class of 2020
I can remember this day like it was yesterday. The day Ariel graduated from kindergarten. Imhotep Academy's class of 2008! And to think, 8th grade graduation is just around the corner and they will become the future class of 2020. Oh the time we've had and the memories we've shared.

through my eyes: Imhotep Academy Robotics
While hanging out on campus one day in December, I caught a quick glimpse of a few of the members of the Imhotep Academy Robotics team tinkering around before practice. This was one of their final preparations before the 100 Black Men First Lego League Qualifier competition. Turns out, that little extra work paid off and Joshua Goode made the highest scoring robotics that day! Please join IA at their "Imhotep Academy Ultimate Student" Open House taking place on February 20,

through my eyes: Jill Robbins
I had the pleasure of shooting Jill Robbins, CEO Soccer in the Streets. I truly enjoyed capturing Jill's passion for the sport, the children and the work of Soccer in the Streets and translating it to images. Soccer in the Streets has pioneered the use of soccer for social change since its launch in 1989. Throughout the 1990's, Soccer in the Streets introduced soccer to many urban and underserved communities through soccer clinics, especially during the 1994 and 1998 FIFA Wo

through my eyes: Laura, Tony & London
What an honor to be the first to phography London. It was also an honor to be in the presence of true beauty, love & joy.
